National Merit Scholarship Program Recognition
The National Merit Scholarship Program has issued 16 recognitions to McCarthy students this far. Five students are currently preparing for their status as finalist. These students are among 50,000 students nation wide chosen out of an initial screen of approximately 1.4 millions entrants. Only students with the highest PSAT/NMSQT Selection Index scores in critical thinking, mathematics, and writing skills qualify for the recognition in the National Merit Scholarship Program. It is a great achievement and the entire Maverick community is very proud of them. We wish them luck and prolong success along the way. We honored them along with other candidates at a BREAKFAST on October 8. Click HERE for the full list.
