Father/Grandfathers Mass and Breakfast

On April 16th, the Respect Life Club sponsored our annual Mass and Breakfast honoring Fathers and Grandfathers. Ninety students, fathers, and grandfathers attended Mass with Father Bartos, and then enjoyed a continental breakfast together in the gym. Members of the Respect Life Ministry summarized the activities for the year, and the students took the opportunity to say “Thank You” to all of the fathers and grandfathers!

Gently Used School Uniform Sale

We are continuing our “Gently Used” uniform sale for the second year to benefit the SGA. All students who have outgrown their present uniforms may donate clean, gently used uniform shirts, pants, jackets and sweatshirts to the SGA by bringing the items to Mr. Boes’s office during the weeks of May 19 through June 6. All donated articles will be inspected, sorted and will go on sale the week of July 14 - 18 from 8:00 am to noon in the media center. This will afford parents an opportunity to make significant savings on the purchase of uniforms for the 2008-2009 academic year. Please note that we can no longer accept the old guayabera shirts. Dinner Dance & Auction...A Night in Havana raises over $132,000 in net profit!

Thanks to our countless supporters, this year's Dinner Dance & Auction raised over $132,000 in net profit. This figure is up 30% from last year's total and our attendance of 365 guests represents an increase of 20%. A great time was enjoyed by all who attended. The evening included live music, a cigar roller, cocktails, silent & live auctions, fine dining, and performances by the Salsa Club, Maverick Sound Jazz Band & Drama Club. All monies raised will be earmarked to support our Cafetorium building project and help fund the lighting and sound equipment for the new stage. Words cannot express our gratitude for the long hours and hard work that our Auction Team and Student Ambassadors dedicated to making this dream come true. The rising success of this event is a reflection of a true team effort and a testament to the faith of our benefactors. As a result of everyone's effort, our Cafetorium building project will remain on schedule with its Fall 2008 completion date and our students will benefit greatly!

Growth And Expansion
Construction has begun on our long awaited Cafetorium (Phase One of the Capital Building Campaign). The auditorium will seat over 1500 people and the stage area is “theatre size”.
