These students will compete with other students from Broward County. They will be interviewed on March 3, 2010, by panels of judges who will select a Silver Knight winner and three Honorable Mentions in each category. A Silver Knight statue and cash award will be presented to the winner in each category. Plaques and cash awards will be presented to three Honorable Mentions in each of the categories. The winners will be announced at the Silver Knight Awards Ceremony on May 13, 2010.
The essential qualification for a Silver Knight nominee is service. A Silver Knight is one whose record of service to the school and community best exemplifies an unselfish and continuous use of one’s talents in helping others. |
