Admissions Process

Incoming Freshmen


All prospective students and their parents are invited to visit on this day. The opening presentation will be followed by small group tours with presentations on our academic program, fine arts offerings, campus ministry, and athletic programs. Extracurricular activities information will also be available and an information brochure will be provided. We hope to see you on October 14! Register Now


The application for admission must be completed online upon registering for the entrance exam. Apply Now.


The Entrance Exam (High School Placement Test) is required for all incoming freshmen. Students currently in 8th grade must register for the exam as part of the online application process. This year’s Entrance Exam is December 16, 2023.

The online application for admission must be completed, including registering for the Entrance Exam, in order for the student to be considered for admission. For students enrolled for the entrance exam, report cards and standardized test scores will be obtained by Archbishop McCarthy through an admissions department request to the student’s current school.

IMPORTANT: The applicant must take the test at their first choice ADOM Catholic high school to be considered in the first round of decision letters for the applicable year. Applicants that test elsewhere will be reviewed if we have space available after our first round of decisions. 

Transfer Students

We are currently at full enrollment in all grade levels. Applications for transfer students for the 2024-2025 school year will be available January 2024.

Eligibility for reduced tuition

Active parishioners of the Church who participate in the faith life of the parish by giving fully of their time, talent and treasure, and by regularly attending Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation, are eligible for a discretionary tuition reduction. Additionally, families may be eligible for a multi-child discount as follows: $500 per child.

Financial Assistance

All students must be admitted and registered to be eligible to apply for financial assistance. All financial assistance applications are completed through FACTS Tuition Management. Any financial assistance awarded will be applied to tuition rates only.

All families applying for financial assistance must first go through the admissions process for each student. Financial assistance applications will not be reviewed unless a student has been admitted to the School and is registered for the following school year.

Tuition Payment Options

Payment options available for the 2024-2025 school year:

A. One (1) payment of the tuition amount to the school due by August 31, 2024

B. Two (2) equal payments – the first payment due by August 1, 2024 and the second by January 1, 2025.

C. Ten (10) equal installments of the tuition amount utilizing the FACTS automatic withdrawal system. (August 2024 through May 2025)

D. Twelve (12) equal installments of the tuition amount utilizing the FACTS automatic withdrawal system. (May 2024 through April 2025)

E. Weekly equal installments of the tuition amount utilizing the FACTS automatic withdrawal system. (Every week beginning August 17, 2024 – May 17, 2025)

Small Group Tours

We offer small group tours to all prospective students and parents.

Please note tours last approximately 1.5 hours.

Arrival Procedures

Enter through the school’s main entrance along Flamingo Road, and park in the visitor parking lot at the front of the school. Walk up to the Security window to check-in.

Tour Reminders

The tour will begin promptly. Please arrive 5-10 min prior for the check-in process to be completed before the start of the tour. Write down any questions you may have and the places on campus that you would like to see.
